Catania
The 13th International Conference on Raman Spectroscopy Applied to the Earth Sciences (GEORAMAN 2018) will be jointly organized by University of Catania (Dipartimento di Scienze Biologiche Geologiche e Ambientali) and University of Parma (Dipartimento di Scienze Matematiche, Fisiche e Informatiche) and it will be held in the Four Point Sheraton Conference structure few km from the historic city of Catania, Italy, from 10 to 15 June 2018. The aim of International GeoRaman Conference is to provide a scientific forum to present and promote the researches in the application of Raman spectroscopy to study of geological materials and processes.
Conference topic is interpreted in a broad sense, including, amongst others, mineralogy, petrology, archaeometry, exobiology, gemmology, forensics and the analysis of biological molecules.
The 2018 Edition is going to be one of the major events in the Raman spectroscopy history, both in terms of attendance and quality of the presentations.
